Crop PDF pages
Trim your PDF's page edges by visual margins (top, right, bottom, left), in points, on any or all pages.

Questions people ask
- What unit are the margins in?
- PostScript points, the PDF's own unit: 72 per inch, so one point is about 0.35 mm. 36 pt is half an inch; 20 pt is a typical margin trim. Enter 0 for an edge you do not want trimmed.
- Can I crop just some pages?
- Yes. Leave the pages box empty to crop every page, or list the ones you want with the same syntax as the page extractor: "3", "1-4", "2-4,7,10-12". A page listed twice still crops once, and out-of-range pages are refused with a clear message.
- Does cropping delete the trimmed content?
- No, and beware any tool that claims otherwise. The crop box changes what viewers display; everything outside it stays inside the file, readable by anyone who opens the PDF in an editor. If material must actually be removed, use the metadata scrubber (or rebuild the page from clean content), not a crop.
- What about rotated or landscape pages?
- Margins follow the page you see: the "top" margin is measured on the displayed page's top edge even when the file stores that page with a 90° rotation flag, and the flag itself is never changed.
- Can a margin wipe out a page?
- No. A crop that would leave a page smaller than 10 pt in either dimension is refused with the page number named, so nothing is silently clipped into zero.
- What happens to my files?
- The upload is removed as soon as processing finishes; the cropped PDF stays downloadable for about 10 minutes, then it is deleted automatically.
