Extract images from a PowerPoint
Extract the pictures inside a PowerPoint into a ZIP, byte for byte as stored.

Questions people ask
- Are the images changed in any way?
- No. Each file in the ZIP is the media part the package stores, byte for byte: the format your deck recorded is the format you get back, and nothing is recompressed, resized or renamed beyond the delivery name. A JPEG stays a JPEG at whatever quality the deck kept.
- The same picture appears on several slides. Do I get copies?
- No. A deck that reuses one image stores it once and points to it from each slide, so you get one file, and the result counts how many extra references pointed at it. If your authoring tool did store two byte-identical copies, they arrive as two files, because the tool reports what the package holds rather than folding by content.
- What is the difference between the two scopes?
- "Only the slide images" walks the slides you see in the deck, in their order. The default presentation scope also walks the shared design layer: slide layouts and the master, which carry background art the slides reuse, and notes slides, which can hold pictures too. The result names where each file came from either way.
- Why is the cover thumbnail not in the result?
- The thumbnail under docProps is viewer artwork for file lists, not presentation content. It is excluded explicitly, and the result says so, so a missing file is never a surprise. Every actual slide, layout, master or notes image is kept.
- What happens to my files?
- The upload is removed as soon as processing finishes; the ZIP stays downloadable for about 10 minutes, then it is deleted automatically. Nothing inside your deck is modified and the tool never runs the deck's code, macros or links.
